(Seven questions to ask before going into debt)
 

1. Will borrowing compromise my ability to follow Christ without reservation? (Proverbs 22:7 )

2. Will borrowing make me less dependent on God? (2 Chron 16:9, Philip 4:19)

3. Will borrowing waste resources God has entrusted to me? (Proverbs 21:20)

4. Will borrowing rob God of what I should be giving to Him? (Proverbs 3:9‑10 )

5. Will borrowing retard my spiritual growth?  (Luke 16:11-12) 

6. Will borrowing jeopardize my family's future? (2 Kings 4:1)

7. Will borrowing weaken my relationship with Christians? (2 Cor 8:13-15)
