Creekside Kids' Theater exists to introduce K-8th graders to the joy of live theater. Since 2002, we have produced shows such as "The Wizard Of Oz", "The Hobbit", "101 Dalmatians", "Aladdin", "A Year With Frog And Toad", and most recently, "Cinderella Kids" and "Seussical Jr." Our productions are open to all children in the community and are offered free of charge. Every child who auditions receives a part.

Summer 2012 Shows

This summer, kids entering kindergarten through fourth grade will present "Winnie The Pooh" and kids entering 5th-9th grade will present "Alice In Wonderland." Both shows will be divided into two separate casts: a "Performers" cast with Monday and Wednesday rehearsals and an "Entertainers" cast with Tuesday and Thursday rehearsals. Each cast is limited to 50 students. "Winnie The Pooh" will rehearse from 3:30-4:30 p.m. and "Alice In Wonderland" will rehearse from 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Performance dates are as follows:

Winnie The Pooh Performers Cast: September 21st and 22nd at 7:00 p.m.

Winnie The Pooh Entertainers Cast: September 28th and 29th at 7:00 p.m.

Alice In Wonderland Performers Cast: October 5th and 6th at 7:00 p.m.

Alice In Wonderland Entertainers Cast: October 12th and 13th at 7:00 p.m.

Auditions will be held from June 11th-15th and 18th-22nd between 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. at Creekside Community Church. All auditions are by appointment and take about 20 minutes. They involve learning and singing a song from the show and reading from the script. Kids who are not comfortable reading aloud may repeat one line from the show instead. Everyone who auditions will be cast in the show.
