A. Why Put Others First?

"Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose."

B. How To Put Others First.

"Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others."

Some Questions To Consider And Discuss:

1. When are you the most unselfish? The most selfish? What's the primary difference between the two experiences?

2. When you are unselfish, is it with a good attitude or a bad attitude? Why?

3. Can you see any differences between the kind of unselfishness Paul talks about in Philippians and the kind of unselfishness you practice?
