character and ministry of Jesus in the
East Bay.

Sharon Wallace (Director
of Facilities)
With no formal training in theology, Bible
studies, or experience in ministry, coming to work for Creekside
Church was the result of a “whisper” from the Holy Spirit that
took Sharon out of her comfort zone and placed her in a position
that allows her to grow in faith with her Heavenly Father. With
her children almost grown, and a thriving client base after 25
years in advertising sales, Sharon thought she would quietly
settle into a comfortable job that she could do with minimal
effort. Unbeknownst to her, God had other plans and Sharon came
to work for Creekside Church in October, 2001 as the Office and
Facility Manager. Sharon and her husband Chris
have
four children and four grandchildren. When she isn't watching
from the sidelines as her kids’ compete in various athletics,
Sharon loves quiet afternoons spent on our boat reinforcing her
reputation as “the worst fisherman on the planet”. Sharon and
Chris also consider themselves “Road Warriors” and hope one day
to explore the back roads of Route 66 (in a Thunderbird
Convertible of course).
Sharon is
passionate about
serving her church and community, working with women and
children who suffer from homelessness and domestic violence, and
remaining open to future “whispers” from the Holy Spirit.
