Katie Atwood serves Creekside’s children’s, youth, and Celebrate Recovery ministries. She graduated from Bethany University (formerly Bethany Bible College) with a degree in music in 1978. After almost 20 years of volunteer ministry at a church in Oakland, Katie and her family joined Creekside Community Church in 1997. Katie and Warren have been married since 1979, and have two grown children. In addition to her love of reading, singing worship music and spending time in the Word of God with other women, Katie & Warren coordinate membership for the Santa Cruz Chapter of the National Woodie Club. Katie’s desire is to be used by God in furthering His kingdom, not only through music and Bible study, but also in whatever creative ways the Lord leads.
