  The Way, The Truth & The Life Martial Arts Ministry is a non-profit program dedicated to teaching both self defense tactics and God's Word. This program incorporates biblical and self defense requirements at each level that must be learned in order for a student to advance.  Contact Chris Wallace at (510) 919-6138.

CLASS TIMES
Classes meet on Mondays and Thursdays at 4:00, 5:00, and 6:00 p.m. and students are encouraged to attend as many of these classes as they would like.

AGE REQUIREMENTS
People five years and older are invited to attend Martial Arts classes. Classes are typically a mixture of adults and children.

BELT TESTING
Please be advised we are not in a hurry to test. When a majority of the students are ready, we will test. Testing is always scheduled on a Friday at 6:30 p.m. and family and friends are encouraged to attend. After the testing, the instructors and students go out and celebrate at Roundtable Pizza at Washington Plaza by Safeway in the downtown San Leandro area.

We hold an Awards Banquet at 6:30 p.m. on the Friday after testing. The awards ceremony lasts
about an hour and is followed by a delicious pot luck dinner!

CLASS FEES
When a student begins an initial start up fee of $50 is required. The start up fee covers the first month’s instruction and the purchase of a uniform and belt.

Martial Arts classes are $25 per month. Payment is due on the first of each month.

Students have the opportunity to test for a new belt every three to four months. A $20 testing fee is required.

Upon completion of the first testing, each student receives a personalized binder and school patches.
At this time, we request that the students have their names and patches sewn on their uniforms. The cost of the lettering and sewing is $40 and can be completed at Linda’s Lettering in Castro Valley (510) 881-4730.

Additional costs occur at the Green Belt Level for individual weapons.  Costs vary from $55 a sword to $30 for a staff, etc.

The Way, The Truth & The Life is a self funded program. The fees collected are utilized to cover:
