Ministry Opportunities:
Fellowship and Bible study group on Saturday evenings
Creeksiders visit inmates at the Deuel Vocational Institution State
Prison in Tracy every Saturday evening for fellowship, prayer, and Bible
study. We rotate weeks so that each volunteer goes once per month. If
you are interested in joining up for next year, please contact Craig
Turner,
(510)- 566 2171
or call the church
office.
Letters to DVI
Residents:
Our ministry at Deuel Vocational
Institute tell us that more than anything, the residents long for
contact with the outside world. If you would like to write a short
letter or card of encouragement, bring it to Creekside on Sunday and
drop it in the offering box. Don't use an envelope or put your address
or any personal information on the card. Just use your first name and a
short message of encouragement, and maybe a passage of Scripture. You
will be a great encouragement to our brothers in prison.
Bible donations of 8000+ per year
Creekside buys the Bibles given each year to more than 8,000 new
residents processed through Deuel Vocation Institution State Prison.
To donate to the Creekside Prison Bible Fund, please call Sharon in the
church office or simply write Prison Bible Fund on your check and place
in the offering box.
Donations help fund Anger Management
training
Your donations help Creekside purchase anger management workbooks for a
10-week training course provided twice per year.
