GOSPEL OF THE EXTENDED FAMILY: PSALM 68:4-6 and JAMES 1:27

Introduction.
These passages are but a few of the many Biblical texts that express God’s special concern for those whose family support systems have broken apart and therefore those most vulnerable, e.g., widows and orphans.

What Does God Do To Respond To Their Plight?
· He enlists His people to look after orphans and widows. (James 1:27)
· He sets the lonely in families. (Psalm 68:6)
