This winter we are pleased to announce auditions for two exciting musicals!

First through fifth graders can join us for "Disney's Cinderella Kids." The timeless fairy tale meets the magic of Disney in this adaptation of the treasured animated film.  This fantastic show features lots of wonderful parts for everyone, including a strong heroine, some wicked stepsisters, a group of resourceful mice, a charming prince, and a fairy godmother, plus a beautiful score including "A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes" and "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo."

Sixth through eighth graders are invited to join us for "Willy Wonka Jr."  Roald Dahl's classic story of the world famous candy man and his search for an heir comes to life in this stage adaptation of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," which features songs from the film "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, " including "Pure Imagination" and "Oompa Loompa."

Auditions for “Cinderella Kids” are scheduled for Monday, January 14th from 3:30-6:30 p.m. and auditions for “Willy Wonka Jr.” are scheduled for Tuesday, January 15th from 3:30-6:30 p.m.  Auditions will consist of reading several scenes from the script. Those interested in a singing role will also sing a song from the show. An accompanist will be provided. Everyone who auditions will be cast in the show.

Creekside Kids’ Theatre breaks each audition into three on hour periods and schedules no more than fifteen auditions per hour. To receive an audition packet with the audition scenes and song and schedule your audition time, contact Jenny Bruce at (510) 430-0607.
