  Creekside offers a variety of adult classes designed to help people grow in their knowledge of the Bible, relationship with God and life skills.  You can join a class at any time.  The following classes are currently meeting:

Prophecy In Judah

In 722 BC, the Northern Kingdom of Israel fell to the Assyrians leaving only the Southern Kingdom of Judah as the Jewish homeland.  During the ensuing 130+ years, prophets arose in the land calling for repentance and a return to honoring the Covenant established between God and Abraham and Abraham's descendents.  Our group will study the prophetic writings of this period focusing on Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Zephaniah, Nahum, and Habakkuk.  The format is an open discussion Bible study.  Preparation requires reading six chapters of the Bible each week. Precept Upon Precept: The Study of Judges                                                                                    Tuesday Evenings from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Women meet in the Upstairs Conference Room                        Precept Upon Precept (PUP) is the most in depth study offered through Precept Ministries International.  These studies incorporate a minimum of five hours study time per week (one hour each day for five days).  As a women's small group, we meet for approximately one hour to discuss each week's lesson, reason through Scripture, and discover how to apply these biblical truths to life.  An optional lecture DVD immediately follows the discussion class. 

This class begins on September 18th and lasts seven weeks.  We'll hold an orientation for those new to the PUP Inductive Study Method on Tuesday, September 11th from 7:00-8:00 p.m.
